An early introduction to an extensive selection of inspirational cultural experiences broadens horizons and helps children develop new modes of expression and understanding of the world.

Regular visits are arranged to places of cultural, historical, geographical and scientific interest as well as to theatres both locally and in and around London.

Great emphasis is placed upon providing all pupils with a basic core of learning as well as an educational experience that is enriching and challenging. Our children are exposed to a variety of creative and artistic activities including Modern Foreign Languages which are taught throughout the school starting in Pre-School. Music is timetabled weekly for all classes in our dedicated music block, with all children having an opportunity to learn music and also to play a range of musical instruments.

External speakers also visit the school providing children an invaluable insight into other cultures, beliefs and occupations. These experiences are all set to enhance the Sherrardswood education.
