University Application

For University application, there is a rigorous process organised jointly by the Deputy Head, Head of Sixth Form, Years 12 and 13 form tutors and the school’s specialist Careers teacher.

Arrangements are made for students to attend careers conferences and university open days. Sixth Form students have a weekly Careers lesson and in the Summer term of Year 12 and Autumn term of Year 13, have regular bespoke one to one sessions to assist with their university or employment choices and to receive guidance with their Personal Statement.

Specialist advice for Oxford and Cambridge entry is also available.

Virtually all our students go on to university and degree choices reflect the breadth of student strengths in a wide range of disciplines.
